VP, Strategy Director Connect with CarlosCarlos (he/el) is a healthcare marketing veteran with more than 20 years of industry experience. As a strategist and brand planner, he’s focused on finding the human truths behind customer challenges that can help drive growth for brands and better health outcomes for people.
For S50 Health, Carlos leads the strategy team through research, interviews, and workshops to help define a brand’s positioning, enhance its identity, and tell its unique story.
Prior to joining S50, Carlos helped develop digital, social, relationship marketing, and patient support strategies for multiple blockbuster brands including Humira, Keytruda, and Trelegy. He also helped with direct, 1:1 patient and advocacy outreach in rare and patient-driven disease states such as hemophilia and SMA. He has guided brands from pre-launch through loss of exclusivity (LOE), including work across BUs for portfolio positioning.
Carlos also has consumer and non-profit experience, with a focus on social, CRM, and acquisition strategies for brands like Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, The New York Times, and Redken. Before working in agencies, Carlos began his career on the client side working to help launch and market adult vaccines at GSK.
